In 1521, when Cortez’s Conquistadores returned to Tenochtitlan, Mexico intent of plundering the Aztec gold. But when they arrived they found that the treasure of Montezuma had disappeared. There are many theories of what happened to the treasure, this is not one of them. But, what if Montezuma II escaped with the gold and headed north to bury his gold, along with a strange crystal box, under a lake near Kenab, Utah. And what if, five hundred years later, brother and sister, Ricky and Lucy Poot, aided by Mexican spy ‘Dirty’ Sanchez discover Montezuma’s gold and Montezuma himself in suspended animation in the underwater chamber. And what if Montezuma awakes with a mission, to use the gold to restore his Empire and usher in the paradigm shift predicted to occur on December 21, 2012 as foretold by the Mayan calendar. Meanwhile, U.S. President, Lincoln Caine has his own problems. Besides Montezuma taking over the world, the Martian Colony is in revolt, and his dealer just doubled his price for weed. But leave it to Deputy CIA Director Blaze Moore, he has an idea to keep tabs on Mexico; nanobot infused beans with tiny cameras through which Dorcas Noir, who’s job it is to select lottery winners, watches Montezuma as well as Ricky and Lucy Poot. Problem is, Dorcas is falling in love with Ricky, the bean induced farts are destroying the environment and Montezuma has only a short time to rebuild the Aztec Pyramids and save the world.
